Between the Sword and the Pen
I heard there was a battle,
between a pen and a sword.
Between a few deathly strikes,
and one simple word
The sword could not defeat
a few thousand men,
A thousand worded lecture
was written by the pen.
The lecture drove them all,
to temporary death.
Its words dragged on like lullabies,
and stole their very breath.
The sword was not able
to bring tears to ones eyes,
Without striking love
and telling many lies.
The pen however knew how
to make ones insides melt,
when composing a sonnet
so powerful and svelte.
The sword ended up covered,
with blood and salty tears.
It's blade getting heavy,
from battling all those years.
And I hear that
Seriously. The sheer horrifying nature of the internet has left me speechless for now.
I live in a free country, where freedom of speech is an important matter. A long while ago, when I was still young and at school, we learned how to do a proper discussion in class. We were learned that provocation isn't that bad to get a message across, but that you should always have at least some respect for the people you discuss with, and talk with them with calmness and reason. If you lose your temper, you lose the argument. That's what I've learned.
The reactions I got on my last journal, however, have left met both sad and speechless. Because I'm u

Destiny Bond [Morty x Reader]
Trembling fingers wrapped around a Poké Ball.
Pink tongue sliding out to wet parched lips.
Clammy skin prickling with sweat.
Voice laced with determination.
“Today’s the day.”
The Ecruteak Gym loomed before her like a mountain. The glass doors gave way to the dark world within, one full of mischievous spirits and fog as thick as storm clouds. She scanned the outside with (e/c) eyes—a familiar sight, being that this would be the fifth time she would challenge the Gym Leader who dwelled within the ominous building’s dark walls.
Swallowing back the swollen lump in her throat, she yanked open the set of double

Tears pour down her face. How could he say such things to her? He wasn't drunk or all drugged up, he had no excuse. Their relationship was really abusive, word wise. Gregory would never lay a hand on her, but sometimes she thinks he might. She gets him so angry, which surprised her the first time she seen one of his flip-outs. He was so quiet, all the time. Where'd he get the time to get loud and angry with the one he loved so much? Gregory looks at her, eyes filled with rage. But for a quiet man he was also very protective and obsessive with his girlfriends. That's where all that pent up rage comes from. He didn't want anyone taking his lady

Nothing Lives Forever
i.
When you were a child, we would sit on the porch to talk about your day. And sometimes, we would find a dead bird, or a frog on there. And you would ask me about death and why it happens, looking at the poor creature in my hands, its life cut short and touch it tenderly. I would always say the same thing.
Nothing is meant to live forever, my dear.

The school called me in on your twelfth birthday and asked if I had known how clever you were, that your test scores were the best in the state. They asked me if I knew I had a genius child on my hands who grew bored easily in class and tended to distract others in his classroom, sometime

“I have issues.”
“That’s a revelation.”
“No. Seriously. I have issues.”
“All right. I’ll bite. What’s going on?”
“I don’t think I’m ever going to find someone who’ll love me.”
"..."
“What? Why're you looking at me like that?”
“You aren’t serious, right?”
“I am glad my pain makes you so incredulous.”
“All right, let me try this again. If you can't find someone who loves you, who am I to you?”
“You’re-”
“Don’t answer that. That was rhetorical. I am the girl

“Are you done yet?” The young man stood in front of the gym’s entrance. His hands tucked inside the pockets of his pants as waited for her, his expression showing sincere patience in his girlfriend’s delay. In less than a minute, she finally got out of her gym. Her short hair was a spiky mess, as usual, in which made him gulp back a laugh to see such a sight.
“Wow Leaf, didn’t know you were that excited to go out with me.” A teasing smirk tugged the corner of her lips, causing Leaf to fluster and avert his gaze. As she chuckled, Green locked her gym’s door and tucked it neatly i
"I am the boy who wants to love
your misshapen words,
your broken hearted pieces,
and
your ink split fingers.
I am the boy who wants to kiss
those scar tattooed arms,
that tear stained face
and
mend what has been broken.
I am the boy who can
and will
make your heart
sing poetry again."
If only he would say it
now
like he had
then.

Once Upon a Misunderstanding
Valentine's Day.
A joyous day. A time where one shows their love and compassion more than usual to one another. A time where one plucks up the courage and confess their true feelings to the ones they ache. A time where love proofs to coexist as creatures alike set aside their differences and think as one.
It was also the time where the blessed become the targets of intense jealousy.
"Kyaa kyaa kyaa!!!"
Green ran as fast he could and quickly shut the door behind him as he entered his gym. He pushed his body against the door, holding it from being slam
